SECOND DAY. Dunedin, March 28. Glorious weather favoured the concluding day of the Beaumont Racing Club's annual meeting. The attendance
was satisfactory. The totalisator returns for the day were £4981, as compared with £5015 10s for the second day last year, making a total of £8345 10s for 14 races as against £8548 10s for 16 races last year. Results:— Roxborough Handicap.— 1 Kerbside 1, 4 Flying Amy 2, 3 Bulolo 3. Also started: 2 Genteel, 5 Segrave, 0 Reminder. Won by half a length. Time, 1.17. Molyneux Handicap.— 3 Attractive Lady 1, 4 Evening 2, 1 Glenrowan 3. Also started: 2 Fair Exchange, 8 John Bradbury, 5 Solanum. Won by three lengths, third back half a length. Time, 2.13. Dunekeld Handicap Trot.—3 Y'oung Jess 1, 4 Shirley Bingen 2, 1 Anthem 3. Also started: 8 Gleneffer, 7 Erin’s Own, 2 Mitchie Chimes, 9 Erin’s Chance, 6 John Appear, 2 Grey Girl (bracketed with Mitchie Chimes), 5 Dusky. In the final run Young Jess drew up to win by a length and a quarter, a length separating Shirley Bingen and Anthem. Time 3.34. President’s Hack Handicap.—l Kerbside 1, 3 Hot Tea 2,2 Terra Firma 3.
