ABSENT SOME DAYS FROM BUSINESS. (Per Press Association). Christchurch, Oct- I. Some anxiety is being caused* by the disappearance of Lionel Comerford. a well-known accountant, until recently employed by a city brewing firm. Comerford was m the city on Thursday afternoon but his subse quent movements are not known to his friends.

The “Dominion” reports: Inquiries are being made for a well-known Christchurch company accountant. The company for which he was accountant is one of several units in the city, making up one of the largest corporations in the Dominion. Apparently there has been an investigation concerning the finances, and it is reported that he has not been present at the company’s business for some days past.
