CHURCH NOTES.

The Rev. D, J. A Shaw will be the speaker at the young men’s rally tea at the Y.M.C.A. on Sunday afternoon at 4.30 p.m. A cordial tion is extended to all yoting men. The subject of the address which will be given, God willing, in the Orange Hall on Sunday night will be “The Lord Jesus Christ: the truth concerning His Nature and Mission.” To-morrow’s services at the Baptist Church wil] be conducted by the Rev. T. Keith Ewen. “Paul’s View of the Cross’’ wil] be his morning sermon topic. Communion to follow, and “The Way of God’’ in the evening. Strangers are cordially invited. The Rev. D. J. Shaw will be the preacher at both services in St. Andrew’s Church to-morrow. In the evening his sermon Subject will be the much talked of Story of Jonah, one of the finest stories in the Bible whe n rightly understood. Strangers, folk who are curious and those who are careless are all cordially invited. The Rev. F. Copeland will be the S readier at both services at tile HastIgs Methodist Church to-morrow, the topics announced being: 11 a.m., “Tile Prayer for Daily Bread” ■ 7 p.m., “Man’s Greatest Power, ’> Anthems will be sung by the choir. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed at the close of the evening service.
