The dance recital by the pupils of Miss Jean Ballantyne. which will take place to-morrow evening at 8 o’clock, is arousing great interest and the box plan, now open at Pratt’s, is filling rapidly. The proceeds are in aid of the Hastings Girl Guides’ Association and the Plunket Society, and the prices are reasonable. Nimon’s ’bus will leave Havelock North at 7.15 p.m. returning after , the performance.
