A CAUSE FOR DISCONTENT. HOSPITAL SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT. (Per Press Association). Christchurch, Sept. 28. Tile medical superintendent reports that tlie junior medical staff at the hospital “are restless and discontented,” stated the hospital committee in their report to the North Canterbury Hospital Board to-day. The report added; “One member of the staff has resigned to take up an appointment at the Southland Hospital at. a very largely increased remuneration. Disturbance on the staff is undoubtedly brought about by the fact that secondary hospitals pay very much higher salaries than do hospitals in the four main centres.”
