Rate of Pay: It is recommended that the men employed on the work provided under the unemployment scheme be paid on the hour basisi at the rate of l/7f per hour. The'Mayor said that if the schedules were adopted it would serve a length of 45 miles of footpaths and no further expenditure would be required for a considerable time. The recommendations were adopted.
