At last night’s meeting of the Hastings Borough Council the applications for (a) the position of Building and Health inspector, at £350 a vear (19) and applications for (b) the position of Traffic and Nuisance inspector. at £275 a vear (97). were referred to a special committee, consisting of the Mayor, Crs. Johnson. Henderson. McKee, and Rainbow, with instructions to reduce (a) to four applicants and (b) to seven applicants. for submittal to the full council.
