The end of season’s drapery sales at Sutherland’s are real opportunities for bargains. This week’s suecial window bargains for Thursday. Friday, and Saturday are indeed a surprise for bargains. Garments that are being thrown out to clear up oddments in sizes, Fiye special window displays, with their bargain offerings are now ready for inspection. Don’t delay your visit, as these are exceptional offerings for the three days.
Increasing public support compels Baird’s, leading drapers and mercers, to enlarge their "remises by taking in the new shop just completed, next door to the old one. The men’s and boys’ clothing and mercery will be transferred to this shop, which will have its own separate entrance, although there will be a right-of-wav through to the other departments. Other departments will be reorganised and enlarged ; while the necessary alterations are going on, a great stock clearance will take nlace. This great clearance commences on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. and will give further point to Baird’s established lead for bargain giving.
