SOCIAL AND DANCE.

The social, etichre and dance, held in the school on Friday evening in aid of the boys’ football fund, proved quite a success and an enjoyable time was spent. The prizewinners at cards were:— Ladies, Mrs Overend, Ist, Mrs Morton 2nd; gentlemen, Mr T. Sinclair Ist, Mr E. Fitzgerald 2nd. The introduction of a Monte Carlo dance was very popular, the prizewinners being Miss Gooseman and Mr Fritchley. Music for the dance was supplied by Mrs Hearne. A dainty supper was served under the supervision of Mesdames Wilkie and Tate.
