HOBART RESERVOIR BURSTS.

MUCH DAMAGE DONE. (Received 29, 10.5 a.m.) Hobart, Alarch 29. The wall of the reservoir at West Hobart crumbled under the pressure of half a million gallons of water, which poured down the slopes of Mount Knocklofty, carrying with it huge stones and debris, and swept down finally expending itself in the basin of the city, flooding houses and doing a great deal of minor damage. There were no casualties, but many narrow escapes.
