TAKAPAU.

(Own Correspondent.) The passing on Tuesday, of Mrs Cat tanach, wife of Mr Duncan Cattanach formerly of Takapau and lately of Auckland, is regretfully recorded. Tllie deceased lady had been in failing health for several years, having had a sever, illness from which she only partially re covered. The late Mrs Catanach wa well-known and respected iu the Taka pau district, where she had resided fo many years prior to moving to Auck land. Her death took place while sir was staying with her daughter, Mr Duncan MeSporran, of Marakeke, Taka pau. Besides her husband she leave? four sons and a daughter —Mrs Duncan MeSporran Takapu, and Mes srs E. D., W. D., and A. Cattanach Woodville, and E. Cattanach—to whom the sincere sympathy of a large num her of friends will be extended.
