STORITORD LODGE STOCK SALE. The Hawke’s Bay Stockbrokers’ Association report having hold their usual weekly sale at Stortford Lodge yesterday, when a small yarding of both sheep and cattle were offered. There was little demand for fat bullocks, all of which were passed under the hammer. Prices ranged as follows: Fat cows £5 to £6 12/6, fat bullocks up to £9, empty cows 10/- to 26/-, 18mth heifers 30/-, 18-mth steers £1 10/- to £3. dairy calves 15/-, fat ewes 14/6 to £l, fat wethers 22/-, fat lambs 19/- to 23/3. fat hoggets 27/- to 29/-, 4-th wethers 19/10, 2-th do 19/-, 2-th ewes 18/-, 4-th ewes 21/-, f. and f. empty ewes 9/1. The various brokers report sales as under:— Do Pelichet, McLeod and Co., Ltd.— 10 fat bullocks £9, 1 empty cow £2, 1 calf 10/-, 1 do 3/G.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd.—3 fat cows £6 5/-. 4 do £6 12/6. 2 do £5, 3 do £6

1/-’, 6 yrlg. steers £2 11/-, 12 do £3, 4 do 30/-, 12 m.s. yrlgs. 30/-, 10 forward ewes 8/6, 5 store ewes 5/-, 48 2-th wethers 18/-.
