BRITISH TEAM’S OPENING GAMES. Auckland, Dec. 21. The British bowlers played the first match of the tour to-day against rinks representing nine local clubs. They won five of the nine games, their aggregate being 187 against 176. The > isitors gave a good display, considering they came off the boat only yesterday.
