Mr. J. J. W. McLean, postmaster at Taumarunui, has been promoted to be postmaster at Mastertoil. vice Mr. J. T. Williams, who will retire on superannuation av the end of the month, after forty years’ service. Mr. E. H. Whitmore, postmaster at Tokomaru Bay, Ims been promoted to the same duties at M airoa, vice Mr. J. H. Fletcher, who has been appointed postmaster at Stratford.
