UNION JACK RESTORED.

BRITISH FASCISTI AND SOCIALISTS. A BATTERSEA INCIDENT. (Received 22, 9.10 a.m.) London, Dec. 21. National Fascisti early in the morning made a risky climb to the roof of the Battersea Town Hall and hoisted the Union Jack, which the Labourite Council had refused to fly since 1919. They pinned a note on the Town Hall door stating that the Fascisti were determined that the Union Jack should be supreme. Thev warn the council “not to fly the foul rec] fl.-g; loyal citizens demand to live unrler the British flag.”—(A. and N.Z.)
