RUSSIA’S MARRIAGE CODE. (Received 9, 9.15 a.m.) London, Dec. 8. “The Times’’ Riga corespondent states that the Soviet Government has been compelled, under pressure of opposition of the Red Parliament’s women delegates, to withdraw the law establishing a new relaxed marriage code. Hitherto only registered marriages have been recognised. The new code is proposed to place all forms of cohabitation on an equal legal basis. (“Times.”)
