The “Sketch” asserts that the Liberals are about to lose Mr. Lloyd George, who will form a now party of odds and ends, consisting of the central bloc from the Conservatives, Liberals, and Labourites The paper understands that the drastic step is due to a secret session of the Liberal Radical Candidates’ Association rejecting the greater part of Mr. Lloyd George’s land scheme, and it possibly means the disappearance of the Liberal party as now constituted. —(A. and N.Z.)
