John Paul Guillemot (Mr Dolan), hairdresser, was charged with failing to provide his wife and five children with adequate maintenance. Mr Dolan said that defendant had agreed to orders for separation, guardianship, and maintenance at £3 a week at Auckland. As the matter had been settled, defendant was discharged from custody. Louisa Maria Stokes proceeded against William Charles Stokes, of New Brighton, Christchurch, for a maintenance and separation order, and the cus tody of her infant child. An order was made for maintenance at. the rate of 25s a week.
