OMARUNUI DRAINAGE BOARD.
NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. Nominations for members on the Omarunui Drainage Board of Trustees close at noon to-day. Five nominations have so far been received as follow :— W. A. McFarlane, nominated by Messrs F. C. Twigg and "W. Potter. F. C. Twigg, nominated by Messrs W. Potter and W. A. McFarlane. L. Higgins, nominated by Messrs W. Potter and G. Gunn. W. Potter, nominated by Messrs N. L. Rosvall and G. Gunn. G. Gunn, nominated by Messrs F. C. Twigg and N. L. Rosvall. Only five nominations are required, and if no further nominations are received the above-mentioned will be declared elected. The first meeting of the board, as gazetted, will be held on October 10th at 2.30 p.m. in the office of Mr. H. E. Pallet. Browning street, Napier.
