(Own Correspondent.) A one club handicap stroke competition was played off on Saturday for a trophy donated. H. H. Oldershaw returned the best card with a net 77. R. Ropata did the round in 82, two strokes over bogey, which was a fine performance under the conditions. The following are the best cards, net scores only being given : — H. H. Oldershaw 77 S.
