WANGANUI LADIES’ TOURNAMENT. Wanganui, Sept. 25. The L.G.W. Challenge Bowl played to-day was won by Mrs Stewart (Feilding), handicap 18, net 78. Mrs Nolan (Gisborne) 78, handicap 20, was runner-up. A very enjoyable day was spent on the links on Monday (Dominion Day) the weather being everything that could be desired. Matches had heen arranged for all grades and the result was a very large attendance. The keenness of the junior players augurs well for the future of th© club. In the afternoon tlye prizes for the season were presented by that veteran player who has so often performed this little ceremony for the ladies’ club—Mr. J. Beatson.
