The Hawke’s Bay Stock Brokers’ Association report having held their usual weekly sale at Stortford Lodge yards yesterday, when a good yarding of sheep and cattle was offered to a good attendance of the public. Prices ranged as follows:—Dairy cows up to £lO, dairy Heifers £3 17/6 to £9 10/, fat bullocks £5 to £7 11/. fat cows from £4 2/6. empty heifers from £2 2/, empty dairy heifers £3 12/6, fat wethers and maiden ewes 23/ to 27/3, fat ewes 18/8 to 25/9, fat hoggets up to 19/5, f. and f. wethers 25/, ewes with lambs at foot up to 31/6. f. and f. ewes 12/6 to 16/, empty store ewes 8/6 to 12/6, m.s. hoggets from 12/10 to 19/6.
