Seddon, the sitting member, will again represent the Liberal interests, whilst Mr. J. Steer has received the official seal of Reform. Nothing definite is yet known of tho Labour nominations, though rumour mentions the names of Mr. F. L. Turley., secretary of the Westland Timber Workers’ Union, and Mr. J. O’Brien, a member of the Greymouth Borough Council. The possi bility of Independent candidates has also been mentioned. BULLER SEAT. Mr. H. E. Holland, the present member, will again contest the Buller seat in the interests of Labour. There is also a likelihood of a Communist candidate taking the field, but the great difficulty apepars to be the selection of a candidate. Mr. J. Menzies. Mayor of Westport, will contest the seat as an Independent.
