WEDDING.

WILDING—WESTALL. St. Luke’s Church, Havelock North, was the scene of a very pretty wedding to-day, the contracting parties being Mr Frank Wilding, son of Mr and Mi.« F. Wilding, of “Fownhope/’ Christchurch, and Miss Erica Wcstall, daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. C. Westall, of West Dulwich, London, and form erly of Hawke's Bay. The bride, who formerly resided at Havelock North, was given away by Mr C. O. Tanner, and was winsome in a lovely dress .of ivory charmeuse, with georgette sleeves and pearl girdle, and train of old Limerick lace. She was attended by Miss Nell Chambers (Tauroa) as chief bridesmaid, and the Misses Janet and Judith Knight. Miss Chambers wore a beautiful costume of palo blue taffeta foundation, with pale mauve overdress, and a black lace hat. Misses Knight were attired in white goregtte frocks, and •large straw hats, blue and pink. Mr Philip Cooke was the best man and Mr Edwyn Wilding, the groomsman. The church had been beautifully decorated by the friends of the bride, and a large congregation assembled to witness the ceremony performed by Dean Mayne, of Napier. The reception was held at “Tauroa,” the residence of Mr and Airs Mason Chambers, where a large number of guests assembled to toast the health of the bride and bridegroom and to offer them the customary felicitations. I The bride’s travelling drosa was of nigger brown heavy jersey silk, with touches of henna and hat to match.
