AMERICAN TARIFF.

PASSES THE HOUSE. Washington September 15. In the House, the Republican leaders regained sufficient control of the tariff situation to force the passage of the Tariff Bill with the dye embargo and potash duty eliminated, by the conference. While 14 Republicans voted against the bill, it was passed by 210 to 90. It now goes to the Senate.—(A. and N.Z.)
