SENSATIONAL LIBEL CASE.
A ROYAL SAXON CITED. (Received 18, 10.15 a.m.) Berlin, Sept. 17. The ex-King of Saxony has been called as a witness in a sensational libel action to deny the paternity of the child of Charlotte Baste, actress, whose husband is a famous author. A statement has repeatedly been made that the King is the father of Baste’s child and the husband has been forced to bring action.—(A. and N.Z.)
