HAVELOCK NORTH.
A representative deputation of Havelock ratepayers waited on Air Mossman last evening at his residence to ask him to seriously reconsider his decision not to nominate for the Town Board. The speakers pointed out how invaluable Air Mossman’s services had been to tho board during the difficulties attending the installation of tho electric plant. They expressed the opinion that no man was bqtter qualified than Air Mossman to guide the board in bringing its wise and far-seeing policies to a successful and profitable issue. Air Mossman in replying, stated how great a pleasure the board meetings had been to him, and that his decision not to nominate had been come to against his own inclinations, solely for health reasons, but eventually the persuasion of the deputation prevailed and tho nomination paper was filled in.
