NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. QUALIFYING ROUNDS. Palmerston N., Sept. 11. The first round of the open championship and first qualifying round of the amateur championship at the New Zealand golf tournament commenced this morning in fine weather after heavy rain overnight.
