REFORMATION PROPOSALS. London, Aug. 16. The Unionist Reconstruction Committee, dealing with the reform of the House of Lords, resolved that the powers of the reformed second Chamber should be those recommended by the Bryce Committee. The reformed Chamber should be a composite body, consisting of selected and elected members. Those selected would consist principally of peers elected by the Peerage from among their own members.—(A. and N.Z?
