MEN’S CLOTHING.
FALL IN AUSTRALIA. (Received 18, 9.30 a.m.) Sydney, Aug. 18. Witnesses at tho Board of Trade inquiry stated that the price of men’s clothing had fallen fifteeu per cent. Some lines had been reduced irrespective of the cost in consequence of a big fall in England. Further falls were anticipated prior to Christmas.—(A. and N.Z.)
