CARDINAL’S ADVICE TO BAVARIANS. Berlin, Aug. 16. In deference to public opinion Cabinet has abolished 10.30 closing, licensing nn erder substituting one o’clock in the morning. Cardinal Faulhabea, addressing ex-' soldiers in Munich, condemned the Bavarians’ imitation of Berliners in drinking strong ale. He said Bavaria ought not to imitate every brainless innovation from Berlin. Bavaria ought to prevent the remodelling of hei schools on the Prussian pattern.— (A. and N.Z.)
