.00 MILES AN HOUR MACHINE. London. March 18. fhe “Daily Express” says that jrigadier-General J. E. Seely (Air Minister) announces that a novel aeroplane has developed unprecedented qualities. It is tailless., square shape, and has two sets of planes fore and aft, with two or three cars swung between, a speed of two hundred miles per hour is easily attainable, and the craft is able to descend almost vertically, minimising many risks. TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT. Captain Hawker is en route for Newfoundland, intending to complete an Atlantic flight at the earliest moment with a Hopwith biplane. RECORD FLIGHT TO PARIS.
