LONDON WAR CONFERENCE.
HUGHES AND COOK ATTENDING.
Melbourne, Feb. 12.
It is expected that Mr Hughes and Mr Cook will represent the Commonwealth at the War Conference meeting in London in June or July. [A London correspondent stated that in conformity with Mr Lloyd George’s promise in May last to hold an Imperial War Cabinet annually, the Government has taken steps to summon the council, probably about the middle of the year. The precise date has not been fixed, pending the completion of the Colonial Office's negotiations. ]

Outlining the after war trade organisation at tne Chamber of Manufactures, Mr Hugties said that a geqeral council <v <<immeree and industry would tie formed and a Minister of Commerce and Industry would be appointed.
