Swiss Socialists in conjunction with the Zurich workmen’s union are planning a revolution on Bolshevik lines. They demand that the Government ’withdraw compulsory* civilian service, demobilise the army before May Ist and abolish the Federal Council’s war powers. Otherwise a general strike will be ordered.

[AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASS N.I Copenhagen, Feb. 12. Unemployment owing to lack of raw materials caused serious syndicalist rioting. The crowd stormed the Exchange, injuring brokers and damaging the building. The police quelled the disturbance.
