WEDDING.

SMITH—ROGERS. A wedding of great interest locally was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Church, Woodville, on Wednesday last, ‘ by the Rev. Canon Eccles, when Ruby, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Rogers, Upper McLean street, was married to Mr. Richard George Smith, of Hastings, well known in hockey circles, and son of Air. and Mrs. Smith, or the Wairarapa. The bride was given away by her father, and looked charming in a gown of white satin with lovely embroidered ininon overdress, large white hat with ostrich plumes, and carrying a Beautiful muff. The bridesmaids were Miss Turner, of Masterton. who wore a white silk muslin gown and black beaver hat with white fur, and Miss Pinhev, oi Alasteiton, who wore st white silk Hock, and black heaver hat with ost nch plumes Both bridesmaids earned muffs and pale pink roses.
