NEW ZEALAND RUGBY UNION

Wellington. March 13. The management committee of the N< w Zealand Rugby Union to-night accepted the New South Wales suggestion for a further interchange .of visits on tho basis of tho agreement made in 1910 for the 1911 and 1912 visits.

An Australian team visits New Zealand this year, the first match to be played, it is suggested, at Auckland at the end of August. There will probably be nine matches, threw of which will be tests. A sub-com-mittee will draw up a programme of matches.

The secretary of the New South Wales ‘Union for warded an invitation through the New Zealand Union to Mr, AV. T. Parata to take a Maori team to Australia during the coming season. Such a tour was desired ip both New South Wales and Queensland. It was decided to approve of the invitation. The suggested programme for the Maoris Is as follows : —Leave Auckland May 26fh, arrive in,Sydney May 30th, on June 2nd piny in Sydney, on June 4th in one of the northern centres of New South Wales, June 7th at Brisbane, 11 th a country centre in Queensland. 14th in Brisbane, 18th western centre of New South Wales, 21st in Sydney, 23rd in Sydney. * NORTHERN I NION. Waffi, and V. Ranks; c< ;i'-h, Mr. G. Fratir. St vernl n< v. members were elected. It was decided to rcccmmend the H.B.N.U.L. to consider the advisability of securing a gymnasium for training purposes. It was resolved to enter a team in each of the senior, junior, third grade and fourth-grade competitions also to send a team to Gisborne during the season, if ' satisfactory arrangements could be made.
