General Cancva telegraphed thatthe occupation of Macabez ensures the possession of the station for torpedoers, thus enabling him tq, suppress gun running. He adds that during the naval demonstration at Suara, the Italians occupied Fort Bukemmess, commanding the Tunisian caravan roads. Two dirigibles flew from Tripoli to- Bukemmess, returning to replenish with supplies from a cruiser.
