DISQUALIFICATIONS EX DORSEL). Mr. W. G. Callender, secretary of the Hawke's Bay Centre of the New Zealand Athletic I nion, has received a letter from the Executive of the controlling body, stating that the disqualifications recommended by the local centre had been endorsed, with the exception of Broadbent, whose term had been made a life <mt*. instead of five years as recommended, owing to his having sent io his wrong performances at Riverton last Christmas. A. A. Thompson, alias A. Greig. — This runner owned up that lie ran as A. Greig in the Hawke's Bay district, and also reported that two prominent New Zealand runners, both of whom were at present in Australia, were aware of this, but he asked them to sax nothing. The union had decided to romniuni cate with these persons, ami if no reply was forthcoming.they would he dealt with.
