ENTERTAINMENTS.

KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS. To-night’s programme is set down as probably the most exciting one the Crystal Picture proprietors have as yet shown, the gem of the evening being “Lieut. Rose and the Stolen Code.” This picture is one of a series of films which have cost an enormous sum of money to produce and picture managers rush for the copies as soon as they are released, and crowded houses have always been the result of theix- effort. To-night the management promise some star subjects in addition to “Lieut. Rose.” When the Wind Blow's” and “The Unchanging Sea” are star dramas of 1000 ft each in length. The comedies four in number a) e ' Lost a Monkey,” “All’s Well in Love and War,” Tilly’s Uncle Fluted,” and “ White Roses.” The OxfordCambridge race is exieedingly mteresting and the comics .ire also very good.
