DR. TRUBY KING AT WOODFORD HOUSE.

Yesterday morning. Dr. Truby King addressed the staff and pupils in the lecture hall at Woodford House. He impressed upon th© girls the necessity of. keeping their physical bodies in a healthful state. He pointed out how dependent upon the physical condition, the mental state is; how no schoolgirl knows what lies before her in life., after leaving school, and that therefore she must fit herself for going out into the world —not only » by being wise—but by being healthy. Outdoor exercise and swimming—a daily cold plunge and twenty minutes’ exercise afterwards —are very powerful -aids to good health. By establishing wholesome habits in our youth, we lay the foundation of a healthy old age. Dr. Truby King expressed his admiration of the school and its ideal situation. One cannot help thinking that at Woodford House the girls have every opportunity of growing up healthy and wise women.
