HOSPITAL TRUSTEES

The usual monthly meeting of the Hospital Trustees was held yesterday. Present— Messrs G. H. Swan (chairman), G. Faulknor, H. P. Cohen, G. Bee, K. D. D. M'Lean, H. Williams, W. Shrimpton, and Dr. Jarvia. Authority waa given for some drainage improvements at the institution. Dr. Jarvia and Mr H, Williams were appointed visiting committee for the ensuing term. Dr. Ronald wbb appointed to the honorary staff, to fill th. c vacanoy' gaus'ed by Dr. de Liale'a resignation. The tender of E. Auhton (£4B) for the padded room at the hospital was accepted, and that of W. Gibba (*l2 10e)forthe padding. Vouchers amounting to .5336 9s Bdwere passed for payment. Mr Faulknor drew attention to the small list of subscribers at Hastings, there being only six names, which he thought might be very greatly increased. —The Chairman said the Napier list waa irery satisfactory, Mr Mayo'a list amounting to over 200 wbsbriben.
