BOWLING.
An alphabetical niafeli, as /ar as it could be arranged, was plnycd on the uowlinjj green on Saturday aiternopn, and resulted in a tie, both sides scoring 78 points. Tho original intention was that teams chosen from A to M and N to Z should play against each other, but this not proving practicable it was decided that the sides should le A to G and II to W. One or two members had, however, to be displaced alphabetically in order to equaliso tho tides. As the gamo resulted in a tie, the return match will probably be played on Saturday next.
