London, June 19. The stock market is firm ; the recent rise has induced numerous transactions. On the 18th, discount was per cent, on short bills. Australian securities in demand. Victorian Government 6 per cents., January and July, £114 io £116; to April, October, £111 to £113. New South Wales 5 per cents., 1871, 1876, January, July, £100 to £102 ; ditto 5 per cents., 1888, 1895, January, July, £90 10s to £100 10s. New Zealand 5 per cents., 1891, £98 to £100; ditto 6 per cents., March, September, £110 to £112. Queensland's 5 per cents., January, July, £109 to £110; Bank of Australasia, £53 to £55; Victorian, £35 to £37 ; English, Scottish, and Australian, quoted £17 to £18. Wool has further declined. This is true for all kinds. Prices are considered equal to those in March.
