Dr. Hitchings. — To move for the establishment of a Medical Board in Napier, in accordance with the "Wellington Provincial Ordinance, to prevent the practising of unqualified medical practitioners in this province. Mr. Col/ENSO, to move. — That this council will be pleased to institute an enquiry into the going ashore of the barque " Eclipse " on her leaving the Ahuriri harbour; she being the first 3 masted vessel that has entered. Mr. Obmond. — To move the adoption of a memorial to the General Government, embodying the series of resolutions respecting the letting of the waste land, just passed by the Council.
