OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION

ANNUAL BALL AT HAWERA The recently amalgamated Old Boys and Old Girls’ Association of the Hawera Technical High School will hold its annual ball at St. Joseph’s Hall, Hawera, on Wednesday next. As in past years, a strong committee has a comprehensive scheme of arrangements in hand and given a large attendance of dancers, the fixture should ~e one of the most popular for some years. Music for the dancing will he supplied by Wills’ Melody Makers and a feature of the evening will he an exhibition of the tango by Miss Marjorie McLaughlin and partner. The decorations will be carried out in tho school colours as in former years. A long and varied programme of dances has: been arranged and it is expected that many old pupils of the school residing in other parts of Taranaki will be present.
