ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING; The Eltham Co-operative Dairy Co. held the annual sports and picnic for suppliers and management at Taumata Park, Eltham, on Saturday. The contests were particularly good, and all events were got off promptly by the committee.
The cup was again won by 7 the Home Separation, group with 21 points. Other points were : Jerseydale 8, Mata 6, Waihapa 6, Cheal 5, Hunter 5, Ravil itiroa 2, Te Roti 1. Previous winners of the cup were: .1926 Rotolrare, 3.927 Cheal Road, 1928 Clieal Road, 1929 Rawhitiroa, 1930 Chea.l ltoad, 1931 Rawhitiroa, 1932 Jerseydale, 1933 Jerseydale, 1934 Home Separator. Children’s races occupied a large part of tho afternoon, and spectators found plenty of interest in the events. Results were: Half-mile cycle :D. Coleman (10yds) 1, T. Stockman (scr) 2, 1.
