Chinaman Who Threatened Animal With an Axe

ADMISSION TO HOSPITAL (By Telegraph—Pre.'s Association.l FOXTON, To-dav. A Chinese market gardener, Low Hing, was gored by a bull on Ilolggrsen’s farm, iMotiutl, to-day. Hing was passing through a paddock when the bull commenced to paw the ground and bellow. Hing, wlio was armed with an axe, went up to the animal and grabbed a chain attached to its nose and threatened it with an axe. The bull knocked him down, but did not continue to gore him. Holgersen went to his assistance, and Iling was able to walk to a whare.

A medical examination showed that he suffered a crushed, chest and a gored arm. He is mow' in the Palmerston North hospital.
