King of the Belgians Honours Waller and Forthomme
FLIGHT TO THE CONGO CROSS FOR ’PLANE OWNER (United Press Association —By Eloctrio Telegraph Copyright). Received 2.20 p.m. to-dayc. LONDON, Jan. 17. The Cross of Chevalier of the Order of the Lion of Africa was bestowed by the King of the Belgians upon Kenneth Waller and Monsier Forthomme, his Belgian co-pilot, who made the notable flight last month to the Congo in the de Haviland Comet aeroplane, in which Waller and Black flew to Australia and hack in record time. M Rubin the owner of the machine, has received the Cross of Chevalier of the National Order of Belgium.
