The Cross of Chevalier of the Order of the Lion of Africa was bestowed by the King of the Belgians upon Kenneth Waller and Monsier Forthomme, his Belgian co-pilot, who made the notable flight last month to the Congo in the de Haviland Comet aeroplane, in which Waller and Black flew to Australia and hack in record time. M Rubin the owner of the machine, has received the Cross of Chevalier of the National Order of Belgium.
