NEW ZEALANDER’S PRIZE (By Telegraph—Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 17. Advice has been received that in a recent examination for the primary' F.R.C.S. at London Dr. Russell Eraser, son of Mr Malcolm Fraser, Under-Sec-retary' of Internal Affairs, headed the list and gained the Hallett Prize. Dr. Fraser, who was in his 27th year, had a distinguished career at the Otago medical school, passing all professional examinations with top marks. Nine months ago he proceeded on a travelling scholarship to London, where he has sin'? been engaged in postprimary researca work.

Word was also received that Dr. Fraser had been appointed physician at a new post-graduate hospital at Hammersmith, where he will assume his duties on February' 1.
