Arrested for burglary at the Single Profit Stores at Otautau, Eric Anthony Bulman, aged 23, made a dash for liberty, but was recaptured after an exciting chase of over a mile. This morning on tne way from the cells to the court he made another dash, with police in hot pursuit, in the course of which he attempted to leap over a creek, but fell in and was recaptured. He appeared in court in wet and muddy clothes. He was remanded for a week, and was taken to the cells handcuffed to a. detective.
